An Indonesian man who suffers from a rare disease which causes tree-like growths all over his body is seeking help from American medics.
Russian Tunnel of Death
The 3,150 m long Lefortovo Tunnel in Russia is the longest 'in-city' tunnel in all of Europe. There is a river running over it and water leaks at some points. When the temperature reaches minus 38 degrees like it did last winter, the road freezes and the result is the attached video taken with the tunnel camera.

Massive penis bone sold for $8000
Discovered in Siberia, the fossilized baculum, or penis bone, is from a species of walrus that went extinct 12,000 years ago. The piece curves to a point and is covered with weathered skin and dry muscle tissue.
The auction house said it was believed to be the largest known mammal penis fossil. The item was sold to the company that runs the Ripley's Believe It or Not museums. The price will run $9,600 when auction fees are included.

Rural Washington man thinks he’s killed the reptile and is then bitten by it
PROSSER, Wash. - Turns out, even beheaded rattlesnakes can be dangerous.
That’s what 53-year-old Danny Anderson learned as he was feeding his horses Monday night, when a 5-foot rattler slithered onto his central Washington property, about 50 miles southeast of Yakima.

Thai police officers who break rules to wear Hello Kitty armbands
BANGKOK, Thailand (AP) — Thai police officers who break rules will be forced to wear hot pink armbands featuring "Hello Kitty," the Japanese icon of cute, as a mark of shame, a senior officer said Monday.

How can a man with no formal robotic education create funny and awesome robots out of electronic parts he finds in the junk heap? Paul Merton recorded a great segment with Mr Woo, a rural Chinese farmer who taught himself to build fun kinetic robots.
